I am trying to use this with an Arduino Uno and not having to much luck, I might have something out of order with the communication. If I use the Serial monitor, I can get this to work.

mmh, hard to say. The examples in the readme.md should be paste-ready ;-)

should connect to SSID klausdieter with password brunhildebrigitte. After that it should connect to the MQTT-Broker with IP-Address 10.0.0.1 and subscribe three topics: lotto, gluecksspirale and aktionmensch.
