Expected behaviour

When generating a requirement document from the UI, I expect the document to contain a section with User Goals and User Stories similar to Goals and Use Cases.

Actual behaviour

No sections in generated document with User Goals and User Stories.

Steps to reproduce the behaviour

  • Add some User Stories and User Goals to a project.
  • Go to System -> Documentation
  • Select Requirements and PDF
  • Click Generate

Version of CAIRIS

2.3.8 (according to System -> About)

Details of browser or, if applicable, details of the OS used to host CAIRIS

Chrome, Windows 11

I need to check the code, but this might be a 'feature' rather than a bug. The user stories logic was integrated into CAIRIS off the back of some other work, but I don't think the documentation generation code was ever updated. Perhaps it's time for me to do this now there is a demand for it :-)

Do you have a desired format you'd like to see for the user stories? I can't promise I can adhere to it but, if DocBook supports it, it should be easy enough for me to implement.

No special format needed, I'm just happy if they become visible in the document :)
BTW: I really like working in CAIRIS. :)
