Updates in Extension Stores

Hey, I wanted to ask when the extensions get updated in the stores? i saw that mozilla addons already has 3.9 (which has many improvements) but google and microsoft are still on 3.8

i would really love to see them updated too (i am using ms edge)

Yes or 50%, just depending the amount of work/reports expected.
Every decision is a trade-off. How to tell the perfect moment for anything?

Sometimes in the past our google web store few%-rollout failed and did 100%.
Sometimes a fix makes it to all versions, but is required immediately for one browser only like Firefox.

Generally the taxnomy / definion of version names 'stable' or 'beta' is not fixed.
Beta could be stable immediately for example for < 100.000 users per browser and won't cause too much stress for us that way nor series of bad ratings. (Chances are, when there is a bug for one browser only, then there isn't for another Browser at once)

...aalso updates in Web Store can take different amounts of hours that we dont understand and even changing one character or rolling back to a previous version can take as long as a new product according to the official webstore documentation,
while Firefox is quick / predictable in reviewing our updates, making them less risky/stressing.
and since Firefox recommends us permanently it might grow almost as fast as the chrome version (please rate it :D)
and Firefox users tend to test better. (@masterflitzer )

I don't really use firefox so I hope the 3.9 version will come to chrome soon

You will probably enjoy 'testing' version. (Also.. our Beta Version is preinstalled on 10,000+ chrome-books of californian schools (they are supposed to chose stable) so yet even in testing we avoid errors.)

'stable' is pending v3.9.35 since ~60 hours.
