Datasets aggregated regionally

The W5E5 (WFDE5 over land merged with ERA5 over the ocean) dataset is distributed under under the CC BY 4.0 license.

The CMIP5 aggregated dataset in this repository is distributed under the CC BY 4.0 under the unrestricted version of the CMIP5 terms of use.

The CORDEX aggregated dataset in this repository is distributed under under the CC BY 4.0 under the unrestricted version of the CORDEX terms of use, with the exception of the simulations from the following RCMs: BOUN-RecCM4-3 model (for Central Asia and Middle East and North Africa) and RU-CORE-RegCM4-3 (for the South-East Asia domain), which are restricted to non-commertial use, according to the CORDEX terms of use and, therefore, are published under the under the CC BY-NC 4.0. See more details at the COPERNICUS C3S CDS.

The CMIP6 aggregated dataset in this repository is distributed under the CC BY 4.0. Although CMIP6 data are licensed under either Creative Commons CC BY-SA 4.0 or the non-commercial version (CC BY-NC-SA 4.0) following the CMIP6 Terms of Use, CMIP6 aggregated data published by IPCC-DDC (including this repository) has been waived by the CMIP6 modeling centers to use the CC-BY license.

We acknowledge the World Climate Research Program's Working Group on Coupled Modelling, which is responsible for CMIP, and we thank the climate modeling groups (listed in Supplementary Material of the AR6 WGI Atlas chapter) for producing and making available their model output.

We acknowledge the World Climate Research Programme's Working Group on Regional Climate, and the Working Group on Coupled Modelling, former coordinating body of CORDEX and responsible panel for CMIP5. We also thank the climate modelling groups (listed in Supplementary Material of the AR6 WGI Atlas chapter) for producing and making available their model output. We also acknowledge the Earth System Grid Federation infrastructure an international effort led by the U.S. Department of Energy's Program for Climate Model Diagnosis and Intercomparison, the European Network for Earth System Modelling and other partners in the Global Organisation for Earth System Science Portals (GO-ESSP).

We acknowledge the Copernicus Climate Change Service (C3S) and the Potsdam Institute for Climate Impact Research for producing and making available the W5E5 dataset.
