Describe the bug
MaxQuant v2.6.6.0 processing on Linux stuck at "Writing tables" (even after 24 hours).
MaxQuant v2.6.5.0 completes within 20 minutes. The error does not exist under Windows.

To Reproduce

  1. Download testfiles:
    fasta raw1 raw2
  2. Run MaxQuant (dotnet MaxQuant_v2.6.6.0/bin/MaxQuantCmd.dll mqpar.xml)
  3. Wait until stuck at "Writing tables"

Screenshots
MaxQuant v2.6.6.0 (stuck):

MaxQuant v2.6.5.0 (works):
maxquant_v2 6 5 0

Desktop:

  • OS: Ubuntu 24.0.1 LTS x64 (noble)
  • NET Version: 8.0.11 (also 8.0.10)
  • MaxQuant: v2.6.6.0

Additional context
MaxQuant v2.6.5.0 and v2.4.2.0 work.
MaxQuant on Windows seem to be unaffected.

@WalterViegener does the new 2.76.7.0 version have this issue fixed? I am seeing this issue on V2.6.6.0 on Windows, it has been running for 47 hours.
