License isn't shown to be selected from chooser #5
Comments
@BjornW can you see if you can reproduce this? |
Are you referring to license selection in the Wordpress network
settings, the Wordpress blog-specific settings, the author-specific
license selection, the content-specific license selection or all of them?
|
The blog specific settings. It does appear to save, but there's no visible clue to the user. |
http://www.foobargallery.com/ is the site. |
@mattl will do after we've moved to our new place & settled in. Hopefully I'll have some time to do so in the first week of June. Roughly 2 wks from now. |
Just tested on 4.2.2. Works as it should, gives the "proceed" info, the change is saved and is reflected immediately on the settings page and also on rendered front-end pages. |
Here are some screencasts that show it not working in two browsers with any kind of ad-block disabled. |
We have removed the chooser integration from the plugin for the time being. We hope to add a prettier and better working version back in later: Integrate License Chooser · Issue #70. |
It appears that the method we're using to get information back from the license chooser doesn't work any more, or at least doesn't show anything to the user. I chose BY-SA, after clicking "proceed" i got an empty white box, which I closed. After saving, some license info does appear on the blog.
WordPress 4.2.2 on Debian Jessie.
