Thank you for TheDesk!

Describe the bug: a clear and concise description of what the bug is.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Install on MacOS with brew install --cask thedesk.

  2. Open for the first time.

  3. In the first window, which is labeled "Add an account", after the field for entering an account, the following text appears:

Uncheck it to skip pasiting code.(login to Mastodon on Windows or macOS) (Recommended: pcheck)

This followed by two checkboxes labeled "Code setup" and "Login as Misskey".

Is there any documentation on what this means? I don't understand what I am choosing here. What is pcheck? What kind of code pasting (I think that's what "pasiting" is supposed to say) am I skipping if I uncheck the "Code setup" box?

Here is my hypothesis: TheDesk includes a command interpreter that allows one to control it by entering code. If the box is unchecked, the user is not allowed to do this.

Expected behavior
A clear and concise description of what you expected to happen.

Environment

  • OS: MacOS Catalina 10.15.7
  • Version: TheDesk 23.0.3
  • Your instance: I have not entered an instance yet.

Additional context
Add any other context about the problem here.
