Feature Overview & Customer Need

Offensive Language -delivered in 12.3

  1. Documentation - Done by TW @shulifink and PM @boazmichaely without team involvement?
  2. Artifacts according to priority defined in the Epic card

Our artifacts are:

  • Conjur on RHEL related code (please be n sync with Susan team if needed)
  • CLI (Python) and Python SDK - New CLI should have no offensive terminology
    We will concentrate in this user story in - CLI (Python) and Python SDK - New CLI should have no offensive terminology

We need to change the following areas:
1 Github pages (e.g. reference to DAP)
2 Configuration files -We should try to avoid changing config files and parameters, as any change would be a breaking change.
Per case decision. If an offensive term appears in a config file, it should be flagged and discussed.
Please notice yml for cluster deployment.
3 Commands and any User facing messages
4 Audits
5 evoke parameters. For example: evoke configure master, evoke keys decrypt key-name master-key-file

DOD

  • Implement the offensive according to guidelines for Python CLI and SDK
    related code (please be n sync with Susan team if needed)
  • If there are user facing commands, logs that are changed and are affecting current documentation we need to create doc tickets for them.
  • Demo the rename results according to requirements/flows to team and PO - PLEASE record it
