Hacking on verbs aka actions

This document is intended for developers of Fletch, not developers that use Fletch.

Terse overview

• Create a new action in actions.dart

• Always use x- prefix for new verbs that haven't been through UX review

• If you need a new target, modify SentenceParser.internalParseTarget

• Add diagnostic messages to messages.dart and testable examples of the diagnostics to message_examples.dart

• The run verb is a great starting template for starting a new verb/action

• Yes, please add another top-level method to developer.dart. We want this to eventually into a programatic API for fletch.
