Contributing

When contributing to this repository, first discuss the proposed change in an issue for community feedback and to ensure it's not already in progress. Please follow the Code of Conduct in all your interactions with the project.

Pull Request Process

  1. Fork the repo.
  2. Make all changes in your fork, detailed commit messages aid review.
  3. Ensure any install or build dependencies are removed before commit. Update .gitignore as needed.
  4. Run terraform fmt and terraform validate before commit.
  5. Write tests to cover any new functionality (Terratests are nice to have).
  6. Update README.md or appropriate documentation with details of changes.
  7. When ready, open a PR against this repo.
