Currently we have to update the list of meetups manually, while all the data is also kept as a custom post type meetup on wpmeetups.de.

the meetup-events should source its information from the meetup cpt (everything from meetup.com url, slug to display name is already there.

In return, we could update the status field for each meetup, if no meetup was held for X amount of time.
