el-mayor-monstruo-del-mundo.xml is not actually the play El mayor monstruo del mundo. As far as I was able to check this, what we have here is just El mayor monstruo los celos, Calderón's own reworked version of Mundo. The differences in the network metrics on DraCor stem from different scene divisions and other more minor encoding choices. It seems like a good idea to have the original version of Mundo digitized. Luckily, there is a PDF of a competent edition of the play with normalized orthography, which should help a lot with this process: https://doi.org/10.31819/9783954877645

To save you some time, here are the historical editions I used to crossreference this:

Maybe worth to discuss in the CalDraCor team, @arojascastro?

Hello, Hanno Ehrlicher answered:

Jan Jokisch is right and we should remove the text of "El mayor monstruo del mundo" from the corpus and maintain only so far the second version we encoded on the base of the edition of Caamaño Rojo, "El mayor monstruo los celos". Of course, it would be the best, from a philological point of view, to re-encode also the first version offered in the edition of Caamano Rojo.

Does it make sense to you Jan and Franz?

To me, that makes perfect sense. The duplicate should be removed and keeping the Caamaño Rojo version is preferred as it is an excellent critical edition. Now we just need a volunteer to encode "Mundo" from the Caamaño Rojo edition that Hanno rightfully suggests and that I mentioned in the initial issue.
