Reproducibility

Before next session, make sure you have the tools that will be used along the course. So, please follow the coming instructions on how to install them:

  • Zotero, which will be used to facilitate the citation process. You should first create an account here, and then, install the client in your computer using this link. Zotero may offer you to install the Connector; we will cover it; but feel free to get it.

  • GitHub, which will allow you to have a repo on the cloud synchronized with a local repo in your local hard drive. To use GitHub, please sign up here, and then download and install the client on your computer from this link.

  • We will use Latex to produce journal-like papers. This link offers you Latex for every operating system. If you are using Mac, you can get some instructions you have some instructions here. If you are using Windows, I recommend you download Miktex; Yiu also have a tutorial here. While runing the Basic Installer, do not forget the selection recommended in the image below:
