It will be nice to replace the old draft link https://datatracker.ietf.org/doc/html/draft-ietf-softwire-map-03 by the RFC7597: Mapping of Address and Port with Encapsulation (MAP-E):

Note: I am not sure if it is needed to add the page.

NTT uses draft-ietf-softwire-map-00 instead of rfc7597.

there's no point arguing about this, they've been doing it this way for over a decade, just like how they did that weird pppoe to l2tp conversion at NGN nodes, making pppoe mtu only 1454.
you can’t seriously expect Japanese to follow international standards :)
