Hi django-grpc-framework developers, @fengsp, @sobolevn and @Montagu,

there is a nicely developed fork of this repo at django-socio-grpc.

Wouldn't it be great to join forces and develop the django-grpc-framework together in one repo,
joining all the resources ?

django-socio-grpc has some very nice convenience features, django-grpc-framework is lacking - but documentation could be improved.

What do think about this idea ?

Hello @markdoerr,

We have planned to work on the documentation this second semester with @legau stepping up to help me on that.

We also consider with this new strength to get the name django-grpc-framework as it is more generic and user friendly.
If @fengsp is okay to allow that would be awesome.

If anyone want to help us to contribute to anything we can plan meeting.

Also we are open to creating a non profit GitHub organisation and make us all maintainer of the repo to work together.

Very cool @AMontagu suggestion - I would be very glad, if we can combine all our experience and bundle it in a github organisation.
I am in

  • and I hope @fengsp also likes the idea :)

It would be nice, if we could use the name django-grpc-framework it is - as you said - simple, very intuitive (and easy to find).

@fengsp and @sobolevn , what are your plans with the repo ?

Hi @AMontagu ,
@fengsp and @sobolevn are not reacting - it might be holiday season for them already - shall we give them another week before planning a joint meeting ?

Hi @markdoerr

They are not answering anything since a long time. We can move and if they want can catch up.
We are working on our roadmap to be ready on the 28 of july.
Do you want to plan an meeting between the 24th of July and the 28th ?
