Does dynamic links works on Chrome OS.

Hi, I have an android application which we are also using on the Chromebook. Dynamic links works perfectly fine on the Android Devices however it's not taking user to the Google Play store if the application is not installed on Chromebook. So my question is does the Dynamic Links works on the Chrome OS? If not then is there any other way to mimic the same experience on the Chrome OS or is there any other tool that we can use for Chrome OS. Please let me know we are very close to the app release and I doubt it might get delayed due to the Dynamic Linking issue on Chrome OS.
