trouble with install on Macbook air 2020 M1 Version 12.1 Monterey

I had trouble installing flameshot on my new Macbook air this morning.
Right at the very end of the install from homebrew, i received this message.

flameshot.dmg was not quarantined properly.

Is this a Mac OS issue?
Can someone help get it installed?

I figured it out. this was how i got flameshot to finally install.

brew install --no-quarantine --cask flameshot
