It was easy and convenient to work in the old command format. Why was it necessary to split the sector recovery into two operations (data export and recovery itself)?

Once an old sector is encountered, it is easy to fail to pull the metadata of the sector. After being separated into two businesses, metadata files can be generated with external assistance.
