I think that there are way more files being tracked under LFS as a result of this PR than desired. For example, all of the Terraform and Markdown files are being tracked under LFS now.

I missed the fact that this was marked as Closed vs. Merged.

The amount of LFS storage and bandwidth for this org (geotrellis) is pretty low. I'm not sure that it is sustainable to use LFS without paying for more. For example, our current monthly usage is already at .32GB of 1GB for bandwidth and .14GB of 1GB storage.
