Hi,
I have tried to find this issue as reported, but it seems to be not known.

Problem
This issue might come out of a different understanding.
When I set start and due date, I mean the dates for the current instance of this task.
When I set the repeat interval/weekday, I set it for the next instance.

Imagine, I need to do something now (Tuesday), but I want to do that in future when I do my office work at home (Weekend).

Current Instance: Start tomorrow:Wed Due: Thu
Repeated Instances: Start next Sat, Due next Sun, every week

Expected behavior:
I maintain Start with Wednesday and Due with Thursday and repeat to EveryWeek - Sat (or Sun, if we focus on Due, "Schedule" vs. "Deadline")
I get a task that starts and is due tomorrow, and when it is done, I get a new one, starting on next Saturday and being due on Sunday. (time span between start and due equals to initial time span)
If you consider repeat as to repeat the deadline for this tasks, next due date should be the repeat weekday and start day should be set (if originally set) to the day, x days before, keeping the original time span.

Current behavior:
(1) When I set repeat, it changes only DUE date, not both dates, Start date is not created in follow up tasks
(2) When the repeat weekday is within the next seven days, it changes the current due date of the current(!) task to the next chosen weekday. (current due Sunday, repeat every Saturday => Current Due date changes to next Saturday.)
