Intro

As far as I can tell, as soon as a project passes from v1.* to v2.0.0, the recommended way in Go is to create a v2 directory and move go.mod, go.sum and all the source files in there.

This is the case for the Orbiton editor.

URLs and paths used

The repository is at: https://github.com/xyproto/orbiton

The sources are at: https://github.com/xyproto/orbiton/v2

And the Go install path is at: github.com/xyproto/orbiton/v2@latest

On the goreportcard.com web page:

When entering https://github.com/xyproto/orbiton, I get this error:

There was an error processing your request: Could not analyze the repository: no .go files found

When entering https://github.com/xyproto/orbiton/v2, I get this error:

There was an error processing your request: Could not analyze the repository: could not download repo: could not get latest module version from https://proxy.golang.org/github.com/xyproto/oribton/v2/@latest: not found: module github.com/xyproto/oribton/v2: git ls-remote -q origin in /tmp/gopath/pkg/mod/cache/vcs/76d00a7434f1b01c7aad1dec632f3ea44fd4b7eb424749f6e5a005b5c4004fdb: exit status 128: fatal: could not read Username for 'https://github.com': terminal prompts disabled Confirm the import path was entered correctly. If this is a private repository, see https://golang.org/doc/faq#git_https for additional information.

Expected behavior

To be able to handle https://github.com/xyproto/orbiton/v2.
