Large amount of pictures stalls hexo generate #588
Comments
Binary files shouldn't take so many time to process. I'll try to investigate what's going on. |
Any update on this? I have ~42Mb of images across some 13,969 files in my source folder and Hexo generate errors due to the amount of files after a very long time. |
Thanks, I will keep an eye on the discussion. Glad you are working on a solve. Good luck! Is there anyways to set the image directory in the source folder to not be processed at all, just moved to the public folder on generate? |
@robmweb Can you send me the source files for testing? Thanks! |
Here is a google drive zip of all my images. / Link Redacted /

Hello,
I have a
sources/images
folder which is quite big: 3884 pictures and 128M.hexo start
andhexo generate
take approximately 140 seconds to load.Once I move the folder away it goes down to 6 seconds.
The problem is then the pictures are not copied during the generate and deploy process.
Any idea on how to solve that issue?
Thanks :-)
