stripmapApp does not remove topographic phase from ENVISAT raw data

Dear ISCE developers,

I've been processing a set of ENVISAT IM2 raw data that covers two frames. stripmapApp can focus and align the SLCS without problems, but the resulting interferogram includes the topographic fringes that should have been removed after the interferogram step. The range.off with the synthetic phase and the z.rdr.full file with the full resolution simulation look OK. I have also run into this problem when processing the data with stripmap stack processor. What could be the issue? I haven't tried ENVISAT SLCs because the area of interest is just in the middle of the frame intersection.
