I was actually doing some experimental work on a UI rebuild as recently as December. I didn't get it completely working before being pulled away, but the groundwork is there. I'd say it shouldn't be terribly hard to restart that work, so this is still definitely on the table.

Until then as a stopgap, I use this browser extension called DarkReader (https://github.com/darkreader/darkreader) which applies a sort of auto-dark-mode that works pretty well on Cadence sites.
