Play MIDI file

Do you know if it's possible to play a MIDI file in Element like Media Player for sound? Tried a VST MIDI sequencer (harvest-mini), it loads ok as VST but can't get to work.

This should be possible with programs that expose themselves as a MIDI device. Or if there's a MIDI sequencer plugin out there, all you need to do is load it then wire up the MIDI out to wherever you want to send it.

Finally, I managed to get it working with LoopBe1, the free virtual MIDI driver. Now, I can connect any external MIDI device (if you can connect the MIDI out to LoopBe1) to Element. It works wonderfully.

For those in sim situation, Harvest (full version) works. It loads .mid drum files, ports to TAL-Drum, other VSTs, outputs Midi to hardware, seqs, etc. LoopBe Internal Midi can bring in external MIDI to Element from apps - (Anvil studio, etc), plays preset files, more. Click its up-down arrows and in box for access ports. Regards >>>
