Are the strokes/distance/speed correct within ORM? On a different note: how happy are you with the Topiom rower? I recommended it to a friend but he eventually went for a C2. |

Speed and distance are consistent in ORM, so it shouldn't matter. Are you using BLE FTMS Rower profile, or the PM5 profile? |

Thank you both for your answer. I was using a Pi Zero with the FTMS Rower Profile. Yesterday I tested a Pi 3, because I was thinking of using a 3.2 Waveshare LCD I have lying around and noticed, that the speed seems to be OK there. For that quick test I had not adjusted the Rower stetting, while I used the WRX700 profile on the Zero. So at least I now know that it is the setting, there is nothing wrong with Holofit. @Gordon-Shumway2: I like my Topiom Rower, although I should use it more and I have not used other waterrowers. I bought it in 2021 during Covid for around 800€, which was a good price during the pandemic. Even for this price I would say that the build quality is decent (leaving alone the prices today), and the support was surprisingly responsive and helpful (I was unable to connect to kinomap). I have the older V2 version, the monitor is crap and does not support FTMS (as does the new one, but that will be a bit more precise, as it uses two magnets), so that's a limitation, but the solution is here ;) |

Hi, I am pretty new to Open Rowing Monitor, which I found when I looked for a solution to connect my topiom rower to holofit.
But first of all, I want to thank all people who designed and helped to improve this monitor, installation etc. worked flawlessly.
However, I have some trouble setting up my rower in holofit (?). Apparently the strokes are recognised correctly, and the distance seems to be OK on the Monitor. However, when using Holofit, the recognised speed is always close to zero, so its extremly slow. Has anyone an idea what's wrong? Is it my rower profil, or is the speed calculated by holofit wrong?
