How to edit SQL before execution?

I use database middleware, and need to modify it before SQL execution.

SELECT * FROM `user`;

->

/* ShardingSphere hint: dataSourceName=tenant_db_1*/SELECT * FROM `user`;

In the above example, I need to add SQL comments, how can I modify SQL in larravel?

I tried a solution:

DB::connection()->beforeExecuting(function(&$query) {
    $query = sprintf(
        "/* ShardingSphere hint: dataSourceName=tenant_db_%s */%s",
        $corpId,
        $query,
    );
});

The above method uses parameter reference. Is there any other method?
