Folks, I have an edit that I took over that was done with braw proxies (mov files) and Red proxies. The proxies never had an association with their originals braw files when the edit was built in Premiere Pro.
I have been painstakingly replacing each clip on the timeline with their original braw counterpart. Keyboard Maestro has helped automate this process with selecting clips, finding braw toolbox clips with the same name, going to the same timecode, and replacing the proxy clip from the start, and pasting attributes from the proxy to the braw toolbox clip. This is taking an immense amount of time for a feature length film.
I thought to use Add BRAW Toolbox to Proxy Clips within an EVENT feature to see if that could work, but that feature is working for me.
Anyone have clever thoughts on how this could be done easier? I considered sending an XML to Resolve and use its replace clip feature, but I don't know if it can do all clips or just one at a time. Still researching that. Additionally I don't know if sending an XML back to FCP would yield funky results.
