playing track reporting

Hi dear community
In cspot, we still report our currently playing tracks with hm://remote/user/...
but with that reporting, we overwrite information like the smart shuffle, or the track pointer on playlists (they are no more marked in the playlist)
How do you report, which track currently is playing?
Do you just add a put call to "hm://connect-state/v1/..." each new track?
And if, do you also add(and remove) each new track a future/old track?
So to say, is there a post/remove for those ip's or just a put?
