So, originally I was debugging why logins to the web UI are sometimes exceptionally slow (more than 30 seconds). I ultimately found #5645, and while that should be fixed, I also strongly suggest that the flag lookups are a feature that can be toggled off - or rather, should be toggled on.
I do not think that "send the IPs of everyone logging in to a mailcow server to a third-party" is a good thing to do by default, even if the privacy terms for that particular domain flag lookup service look reasonable.

I absolutely despise these kinds of bots. An issue doesn't just "get stale", especially not if its a valid feature request and a real privacy concern. The lack of maintainers' actions should not be put on the reporter to write a poke-comment every month.
I'll poke this once, but I won't poke this again, and instead I'll just stop caring.
