{date:%Y-%m%d%H%M%S}

is to exclude the last digit from the eight-digit number.

So for 2024-08-27 06:44:04, you want to transform it not to 27064404 (%d%H%M%S), but 2706440?
If so, that's not easily doable and definitely not possible with default format strings.

First, we used \fE to solve the problem. This seems to be the best thing at the moment.
