Hey anything new about this? I've started to use mopidy+ncmpcpp as unique replacement for my (buggy) Linux Spotify client, but such amazing feature seems to be still missing. I'd like to add or remove songs to/from my Spotify playlists and have them automatically synchronized with my Spotify account. It doesn't sound so hard to implement. Do we have any update on this?
I was working on this some time ago but I ran into some pyspotify issues
and then the summer happened. The pyspotify stuff is possibly fixed now
with the latest version so I'll try and resurrect this stuff. But I am a
slow worker so anyone else interested shouldn't hold back. I'd love to have
this feature.

It would be nice to be able to manage Spotify playlists through Mopidy. E.g. create/rename/remove playlists, and add/move/remove tracks in playlists.
