mpv sounds way quieter than any other application on windows

Reproduction Steps

play audio

Expected Behavior

plays the audio at normal volume
(when i play audio, i need to set the volume 6 times higher than normal volume (where windows 10 sound is audible, and at a normal level)

Actual Behavior

audio plays really quiet
i use a dac for audio output (marantz NA7004), with usb in
