I don't want to use Firefox from its original location in Linux /home/usermozilla/firefox/ because when I revert from snapshot to the previous state I loose my recent bookmarks. This is very annoying. I use private profile for Firefox instead. Would it make sense to use default Firefox profile but move files it to different directory than original and just symlink to original directory? Would that be the same effect from security point of view as keeping Firefox files in original location?
