this is when Element is in plugin mode in a DAW.

for VSTs with a data entry popup window, they are hidden by the VST plugin window, so then the windows are stuck, you cannot close the data entry window because it is behind the vst window, and as such, the whole element plugin is frozen.

The plugin I used was Midi Shape Shifter.

Data entry for feilds is via a popup.
