Re: WordPress Configurations Guide

Priority: Low

Issue Description:

"GitHub Updater" has been renamed to "Git Updater" (since support for more than just GitHub has been added since the time that this documentation was written), so that should be changed (and the link to the repository updated).

Additionally, it's confusing to use the plugin header of the Git(Hub) Updater as an example of what a plugin header should look like that uses Git Updater to source updates.

Suggested Resolution

  • Update "GitHub Updater" to "Git Updater"
  • Update link to the repository
  • Change the plugin header to be more generic
