Give the latest kernels a try: 2.6.39.x and 3.1.1

3.1.1 -> seems to work fine. There is no ns cgroup controller anymore (deprecated). It has been replaced by a compatibility flag 'clone_children', where a newly created cgroup will copy the parent cgroup values (before, it was responsability of ns).
