Describe the bug
Having issues with RE4 VR mode functioning. I did have it running this morning when I had a ton of mods enabled, it did run with no mods enabled after, It worked for me right after dropping in openvr.api into the folder. After trying to get a cleaner setup with no mods that are over the top, the openvr.api started to fail loading the overlay. Would not load with openxr's file either.

Upload logs and any crash dumps
Locate the re2_framework_log.txt in your game directory and upload it along with the issue.

If you crashed, upload the reframework_crash.dmp file as well.

Identify the REFramework version
If the REFramework version or commit hash is known, submit this information.
I attempted to use two different versions, my build I have been running for the last few months: v. 1.5.6+28-dcc84bae
And then I downloaded the most recent nightly build to attempt with as well: v. 1.5.7+20-d47aa0a

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Launch game, then see REframework report an error stating the api files can't load.

Expected behavior
Was expecting for VR to load after REframework loads as it was doing just that this morning.

Desktop and VR (please complete the following information):

  • OS Windows 11
  • Graphics card Nvidia Geforce RTX 3070 TI
  • CPU AMD Ryzen 9 5900x 12-core Processor (24 CPUs), ~3.7GHz

Steam Deck/Linux (please complete the following information):

  • Proton version Not Applicable, not either.

Virtual Reality (please complete the following information):

  • Headset model Oculus Rift E
  • Runtime (OpenVR or OpenXR) Attempted both, but they now fail

Additional context
I would also like to add that my performance massively tanked when I updated the REframework files to the nightly release, not sure why that would occur but my game went from running around 70-80 fps to 40-50 fps. I ran a file validation but no changes on the performance or the vr functionality.
