Where can I find the language code for transcriptions of Mongolian names in Chinese characters, portuguese, latin, …?

We use the same language codes as are common on the web ISO 639-1 / RFC 5646. Just click on the link to find out more.

We don't know if Mr. X was born in 1961 or 1962, do I need a new field for that?

No, the first thing to note is that we always use YYYY-MM-DD format for expressing dates. In cases where there is only a year it must have four digits, e.g. -0331. There are different ways of expressing uncertain or vague dates, we follow these extended date time guidelines. So you can say things like: 196X or 1961? or [1961, 1962] or …

My source isn't really a book, should it still be in the text.csv table?

So far yes. You can look here for ways to categorise documents, that aren't books. In case of web resources just use the URI in the source field, e.g. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lu_Xun. These do not require a separate entry in text.csv

My editor keeps changing numbers to something that I don't want.
