This is a prototype using VIKUS Viewer to present a selection of Nationalmuseum's paintings. The prototype, along with three other prototoypes, was developed in the context of a wider evaluation of generous interfaces. This evaluation work has been carried out in cooperation between the the Swedish National Heritage Board, the Nordic museum, Nationalmuseum, Malmö museums, and the Swedish Museums of World Culture. The prototype was developed by Delorean, contracted by the Swedish National Heritage Board.
Note that the VIKUS Viewer is not optimised for use on mobile devices, so try it out on you desktop or laptop!
The prototype was tested with a users and also went through a heuristic report. The tests were conducted by Delorean. Please note that the report is in Swedish only.
After the finalisation of the development of the prototype we have been made aware of an earlier evalutation based on testing by users. The report is available online in the Digital Humanities Quarterly 2017 Volume 11 Number 2.
