Nervici is a simple game in which players draw lines on a screen and try not to bump into each other. The longer player survives, the more points will he get. A player with the most points will become a winner. There some other options to get points, for example collecting smiles.
Compilation ad installation
Before compilation you will need C++ compiler (gcc), cmake and these libraries and theirs headers: SDL, SDL_image, SDL_gfx, SDL_pango, gettext, glibmm, giomm, OpenAL. Now open a terminal in the root directory of sources and type following commands:
mkdir build
cd build
cmake .. -DCMAKE_INSTALL_PREFIX=there you fill in a directory, where you want to install the game
make
make install
First one will made a new directory "build", in which the game will be compiled, Third one will setup a compilation configuration. Next one will compile the whole game and last one will copy all needed files into the installation directory. The main executable will be placed in bin/nervici.
Organization of the sources
Sources are located in two directories. "include" directory contains all headers and C++ sources are stored in "src" directory. Both of them share same subdirectories structure, only "includes" has additional directory "fakes". It is used for simple header files with forward declarations of structures, classes and unions.
"modules" directory contains cmake configuration files and "po" directory translations. Game data are separated in "images", "sounds" and "music" folders.
