midi2lr Delete and Enter Keyboard shortcut

Newbie here who is very late to this whole midi2lr hype but I'm very eager to learn. I'm trying to add a couple of commands that I use frequently in my workflow that don't seem to exist in the common commands so I thought I would try and create a keyboard shortcut. I'm using a mac and the "Delete" command that I have tried doesn't seem to work, not does the "Enter" command. I've tried several version of these commands and I can't seem to find any documentation that will work. Am I missing something simple here? I'm sure others remove photos from their catalogs. Thanks in advance.
