Support for Braille Characters? #482
Comments
To me, this would be huge. Nerd fonts are great for exactly the sort of terminal art use cases braille fonts are required for so not having them available is a bit of a problem. It's like not having box-drawing characters. |
Is there any update or solution for this? |
I recommend modifying the existing fonts by adding braille. The UTF-8 location of the braille fonts should be U+2800 - U+28FF. |
Please can we get braille added! Edit: I have made a version that works for me, https://www.chaz6.com/files/font-patcher-braille using the braille font from https://yudit.org/download/fonts/UBraille/UBraille.ttf. |

Just a request/suggestion :)
Would be nice to have an option to add a braille font (https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/ttf-ubraille/)
Some popular tools such as gotop use this font to render pixelart, such as graphs, in the terminal.
An example is shown below.
