In the Operator documentation for Restore from backup there is a note which is telling that rolling restart is needed after doing restore schema. That is true but only for ScyllaDB 5.4/2024.1 or older. I found it confusing as I was working on 2024.2-rc1 and I haven't seen 'DONE - restart required' message. It would be worth to add such note or a link to manager backup documentation old and new

The Scylla Operator project currently lacks enough contributors to adequately respond to all issues.

This bot triages un-triaged issues according to the following rules:

  • After 30d of inactivity, lifecycle/stale is applied
  • After 30d of inactivity since lifecycle/stale was applied, lifecycle/rotten is applied
  • After 30d of inactivity since lifecycle/rotten was applied, the issue is closed

You can:

  • Mark this issue as fresh with /remove-lifecycle stale
  • Close this issue with /close
  • Offer to help out
