Saves sync with syncthing and other ideas

I have a syncthing instance and all my computers in it to sync my emulator saves etc. should I just sync the savedata in the user folder or there are other folders I should include in addition to the file play_time.txt etc? Also If we are going to have other user data like users etc it would be easier to have that in a dedicated folder to make it easy for users to sync that folder arround and backup their info.
