I'm sure there's some way to count all words in a directory. I don't know it and don't want to search for it now so here's an issue.

wc -w * will give a total across files in a directory.
No way that I can find to run it recursively.
So, right now the file structure is flat to let that work. I feel like maybe LaTeX is useful here?
