Hello there! 👋
- My name is Bayoán (Nosferican).
- I am originally from 🇵🇷, but currently based out of Washington, DC (🇺🇸).
- I mostly work on tools such as statistical / scientific computing packages in the Julia language. Other tools I develop include a mix of research projects (e.g., agent-based model frameworks) or of public interest (e.g., scrapers for power outages and state legislative votes).
- My favorite programming language is Julia. I also have years of experience with R and SQL.
- The sponsorships help me allocate time mostly to maintain the projects and when possible active develop new features (i.e., during breaks).
