I am interested in developing open source Rust code that is useful, easy to use, and educational.

• I'm excited by Rust because I feel it forces me to be a better programmer.
• I'm excited by open source because it helps everyone learn and progress together, and fosters a community of curious and ambitious individuals.
• I'm excited by developing code, without the assistance of AI. I understand AI can accelerate the rate of software development, but that's not what I'm after in my personal projects. I want to fumble around on my own terms, make mistakes, learn from them, and help others understand why those were mistakes.
• I'm excited by topics and algorithms that are interesting, even if they don't have obvious applications.
