Hey! I'm Aidan 👋

Nice to meet you! It's probably best to start with the following question: who am I? To answer that briefly, I'm an 18 year old high-school student studying A-Levels in the UK. Writing code and understanding the way it is processed by computer systems is my passion - it's not the only one I have, though. I love Japanese culture, the outdoors (including activities such as snowboarding, cycling & swimming), and talking to other people from all around the planet.

What am I currently working on?

Some of my current projects include:

• genkai (言海) - a multi-language to Japanese dictionary using primarily EDRDG/Jim Breen sources; effectively aiming to become an open-source Jisho.
• tengoku-mobile - a Japanese content consumption application using the set of scrapers provided by the Consumet API (i.e. the Consumet OSS Project - I am a project maintainer, working specifically on consumet.ts).

How will your funds be used?

Any funds received will be greatly appreciated; thank you! I wish to use these funds to further my software development journey through purchase of courses, or hosting of software I may have on services such as AWS. If I have leftover funds, I will utilise them in the future to further achieve my endeavours.
