I am a self taught developer that loves solving problems with code.

One of the languages I love working with is Elm, and as I have learnt so much from the Elm community over the years, I have always wanted to give something back. With this in mind, I have been teaching myself C# in order to build cross platform CLI's and desktop Apps. The CLI's and Apps I am working towards will help experienced developers work with Elm and also help newcomers to Elm to get started.

My ultimate goal is to build a cross platform IDE for Elm that will encapsulate all the other great tools that have already been built by the community. It will also provide custom features that will help newbies on their journey learning Elm, and also speed up the workflow for experienced developers.

My current situation is that I am now full-time carer for my mother who has Alzheimers. As a result I am no longer able to work full-time due to being needed at home, and am only able to work part-time, close to home, in a local pub for minimum wage. Any sponsorships that I receive would not only help to relieve an already stressful situation, and maybe allow me to be at home full-time with my mum, but would also enable me to focus much more of my time building the Elm CLI's and Apps I am working towards.
